The Riveter brings together Stacey Abrams, Lindy West, Cindy Robbins, Jessica Bennett, Arlan Hamilton, and more for The Riveter Summit: Women Building the Future this fall in New York
SEATTLE, WA – The Riveter, a modern union for working women, today announced its first annual conference, The Riveter Summit: Women Building the Future. The conference will bring 500 attendees together November 6-7 in the heart of Chelsea at New York City’s Highline Stages.
The Riveter Summit will provide two days of provocative programming discussing today’s critical issues. Topics include deep dives into faith and politics, conversations around gaining and leveraging financial power, and discussions on motherhood, the wage gap, voting rights, and more, with ways to take action. From inspiring keynotes to tactical, intimate workshops, all content will focus on bringing women and their allies together to activate their power for progress, be it professional, personal, or societal.
“We opened locations across the country this year, and it has been incredible to see the demand for our programming and events addressing building a world in which equity of opportunity is a reality,” said Amy Nelson, founder and CEO of The Riveter. “We built The Riveter Summit to equip women — and all who think the American workplace can, and should, look different — with the inspiration, information, and tools to drive progress forward.”
Thought leaders including Stacey Abrams, political leader, nonprofit CEO, author, and serial entrepreneur; Lindy West, author, activist, and writer of Hulu’s “Shrill”; Cindy Robbins, former president and chief people officer at Salesforce; Jessica Bennett, gender editor at The New York Times; and Arlan Hamilton, founder and managing partner of Backstage Capital, will speak at The Riveter Summit. Over the coming months, additional speakers will be announced. Attendees will also have access to experiences, special offers, and products from brand partners including Alaska Airlines.
The Riveter Summit tickets are on sale today, with a limited-time, early bird offer for $495, with special Riveter member pricing of $450.
